Raeanne Hance is the Executive Director for Prison Fellowship in Florida and Georgia. Raeanne is responsible for all prison related ministry in those States. There are 155 State and Federal facilities in the 67 counties of Florida and 54 in Georgia. The total prison population (State and Federal) is approximately 162,000+ inmates. Raeanne is to ensure the delivery of Prison Fellowship programming in this area. She is to oversee the management of the programs to ensure the quality, consistency, and the goals set forth by Prison Fellowship. She represents Prison Fellowship to the churches, Department Of Correction, Bureau of Prisons, Government and the business community in the State.
Raeanne currently serves on the Secretary of Corrections Re-Entry Advisory Council for the State of Florida. Raeanne had served on the Florida Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Advisory Board and Children of Promise, Children of Prisoners Task Force. She actively worked with the Serious and Violent Offenders Re-entry Initiative with State, Government and the Faith Community in Florida. She is an active member on many boards that work with inmates and their families.
Before coming to Prison Fellowship in November 1999, Raeanne worked as a Contracts Manager for a large national homebuilder. She is a State Certified Contractor and also holds her Real Estate license.
Raeanne served as a Volunteer for Prison Fellowship for over 10 years and in 1996 was awarded Volunteer of the Year. As a Volunteer Raeanne led and coordinated weekly Bible Studies, In-Prison-Seminars at Broward Correctional Institution in Pembroke Pines, Glades Correctional Institution in Belle Glade, Biblical Counseling in the Broward County Jail, and was the Volunteer Chaplain at a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation house in Pompano Beach. She was the Broward County coordinator for the Angel Tree project. Raeanne also instructed volunteers to participate in Prison Fellowship. She and her husband Bob served on the Florida Area Council for Prison Fellowship.
Raeanne served as a Board Member for Teen Challenge International, and is an ordained minister.
Personal and Family Background
Ms. Hance was born in Connecticut but was raised and has lived in South Florida all her life. She currently resides in Pompano Beach with her husband Bob. They have three children and eleven grandchildren.
They are members of Christian Life Center in Fort Lauderdale, Senior Pastor Max Yeary.
